Max Air’s Abuja sure plane yesterday suffered a chook strike 10 minutes after take-off on the Aminu Kano Worldwide Airport, (MAKIA) Kano.
The plane, in accordance with sources, was compelled to return to Kano.
The Max Air B737 airplane with registration quantity VM1645, which was slated for take-off at 1.30 pm had a few 30-minute delay. The plane later took off round 2:00 pm with full passenger load.
A supply near the airline confirmed the incident.
He disclosed that the plane engine was hit by a chook throughout take-off, affecting a number of the blades of the plane engine, forcing the captain of the plane to make an air-return, an ordinary apply in aviation to forestall an accident.
