Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has granted freedom to 123 jail inmates throughout the state.
Ganduje, who witnessed the discharge of the inmates from Goron Dutse Jail yesterday, mentioned the gesture was within the spirit of the Eid-El Fitr celebration.
He mentioned the beneficiaries have been chosen primarily based on the gravity of offences and indicators of reformation whereas in jail.
